As the Middlesbrough Children & Young People’s (C&YP) Trust Manager, Lisa was part of my team acting as the strategic lead for the voice of the child and children’s workforce development. This included responsibility for developing a range of resources and tools to support improvement and reform of children and young people’s services acting as a critical friend to organisations and facilitating the sharing of local, regional and national best practice. Lisa’s skills and knowledge was a key part of our ability to meet the requirements and outcomes set by the C&YP Trust Board ensuring we were kept up to date on the strategic developments, legislation and reform relating to the voice the child and children’s workforce. Lisa also played an active role in supporting our preparation for the various OFSTED inspections taking a strategic lead on key element of the inspection process.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa to any organisation particularly those who are looking to strengthen and improve the voice of the child.
